Be still and know that I am God.
Let your hearts be comforted concerning Zion; for all flesh is in mine hands; be still and know that I am God.
This scripture offers great comfort. It points us away from the problems and fears and anxieties that perplex us and that fill our minds with turmoil and our mouths with chatter and lamentation.
It lets us concentrate, if only for a moment on the face of Christ himself, leaning over us in love and encouragement and promise. In that moment of stillness, miracles can happen; in response to the Savior’s love, peace and knowledge and strength can flood our souls.
